Below are the Yoruba days of the week. Of course it is worth noting that very few native Yoruba speakers use these words in conversation.

Just wanted to leave a comment on the impact of this blog in my life already.
My husband (who is not Yoruba) but is learning the language recently asked me what the days of the week were in Yoruba and i consider myself to be quite knowledgeable in my Yoruba but this time i went “BLANK”. However, knowing i had somewhere to go was all so comforting, of course i came to the blog and i found this post on the days of the week and was able to refresh my memory. I love having this, it’ll always be there and i can improve my Yoruba when i need it.
